Hi, I’m Max. I’m a third-year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at CU Boulder. My research focuses on humanoid robots that plan with learned models. I build the autonomy stacks that let them do precise physical work, and study how learned models of the world and the robot can enable planning where traditional modeling techniques are not tractable. You can learn more about my research on my personal page. Before coming to Boulder, I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science at the University of Denver. Outside of work, I like to golf, snowboard, and spend time with my family.
